Games Afternoon

Our Games afternoon is on every Tuesday 1:30-3:30pm in our cafe area and is FREE to attend!

Come along to this social group, open to anyone (16+) looking to get out the house, meet new people or have a space to meet up with friends, for dominoes, card games and other board games.

Our Community Café is open for drinks and snacks while you are here! Feel free to grab a book from our community library too and use the time to read.

Head, Heart & Health Gentle Exercise

Are you over 50 and looking to stay active, meet new people and enhance your wellbeing? Our Health and Wellbeing programme is designed to with YOU in mind! Completely free, it’s the perfect way to boost your health while tackling social isolation and making lasting friendships. We have our Head, Heart & Health gentle exercise class in the centre, every Thursday 10-11:30am. Suggested donation: £3. Donations help to keep the group running when funding runs out!

Run in partnership with Learn Active and funded by Active Through Football.

Ladies Friendship Group

The Ladies Friendship Group is for social women who want to chat and enjoy fun activities.

Many women reach a stage in their lives when children have flown the nest, or they have retired from work, and find themselves without a partner or realise that our old friends have moved away from us.  If this is you why not come along to meet like-minded women in similar situation, you can make new friends and participate in activities together.

Some of the activities Ladies did last year include salsa dancing, needle felting workshops, singing for pleasure, and cook and taste.

Men’s Social Group

Come along to the Men’s Social on Fridays between 1-3 pm to meet new people and play games such as table tennis, dominos, darts, cards, or pool.

No need to book, just turn up. All ages are welcome!

Men’s Songwriting

Every Thursday evening, we have the new Men’s Songwriting class brought to you by Creative Frame & St. Helen’s Wellbeing. Over 60s Social Group

A social group for people over 60 with bingo, tea, coffee, and biscuits.

Price: £2 + £1 for bingo

The group meets every other week, please give the office a call for the next session date.

Upcycling Craft Group

The Upcycling Craft Group uses donated items such as wool, buttons, ribbon and more to create things with different craft techniques. The group meets on Wednesdays at 1-3 pm. The activity is free and no craft experience is needed.
