The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers. The Citizens Advice service aims:

To provide the advice people need for the problems they face.
To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.

The service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. Come along to Crownway Community Centre every Friday between 10.00am – 1.00pm and meet with an advisor for support, advice and guidance on any debt-related queries or problems that you have.

If you need additional or alternative advice and support, please check the St Helens Citizen’s Advice website for more information.

Dementia Cafe

Our monthly Dementia Cafe is a lunch and a social for people living with dementia, their carers, and family members. It is organised on the second Thursday of the month at 11.30 am-1 pm. Participants receive a workbook by Playlist for life which helps them improve their lives with the help of music. In addition, we occasionally have visitors from local groups and charities who support people with dementia.

You can have a look at Crownway Cafe’s menu here.
