The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers. The Citizens Advice service aims:

To provide the advice people need for the problems they face.
To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.

The service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. Come along to Crownway Community Centre every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month  between 10.00am – 1.00pm and meet with an advisor for support, advice and guidance on any debt-related queries or problems that you have.

Ward Councillor Surgery

If you have a complaint about local issues or just wish to have an informal chat with your councillors, come along to the surgery of the councillors of Newton-le-Willows West, Earlestown, Cllr Terence Maguire (Independent) and Cllr Karl Collier (Independent).

In 2022, the surgery is held on the following  dates:

From 9.30 am to 11 pm on Mondays: 22nd August,26th of September, 24th of October, 21st of November, 23rd December

From 5 pm to 6.30 pm Thursdays:  8th of September, 6th of October, 3rd of November, 8th of December
