We support the Baptist Missionary Society both prayerfully and financially and are members of the Merseyside Branch of BMS, belonging to one of the link up groups offering support to particular missionaries working aboad. We also support an OMS missionary worker based in Spain.
We support Home Mission which offers churches in strategic mission areas the opportunity of a full time minister when they could not otherwise afford one, as well as offering support to churches in other ways.
In conjunction with another church, we have recently donated money for the provision of a toilet block for Kikambala Baptist Church in Kenya, and following a recent visit there by one of our members, our Church has paid for the provision of an electricity supply for them.
We are supporters of ‘Open Doors’ and receive regular updates from our Open Doors representative.
Every Christmas we support the Samaritan’s Purse ‘Shoebox Appeal’, donating gifts to underprivileged children.
Our Harvest gifts of dried goods are donated to the Chernobyl Charity.
