New! FREE Urban Crafts for 5-10year olds

Crownway Community Centre in Earlestown will soon be offering five FREE sessions of Urban & World Crafts aimed at 5-10year olds. We held four of these activities over the summer and they were so well attended and popular that we want to offer them again. Our tutors – provided by Nugent Education Ltd., – are extremely talented and excel in making workshops fun, lively and educational. Everything that is made at the craft sessions can be taken home! Free! Urban Zone Youth Workshops

Crownway Community Centre is pleased to announce that we’ve successfully secured funding with Children in Need for a brand new – and FREE – weekly Youth Workshops club called ‘Urban Zone’. Working in partnership with Nugent Education Ltd, we will deliver sessions spanning the course of several weeks throughout the school year that will cover an array of exciting, inventive and dynamic activities.

Workshops commenced in May 2012 with Street Dancing for kids and has since run throughout school terms with each session being well attended. Workshops have included: Street Dance, Break Dance, Music Production, World Crafts, Japanese Origami, Graffiti Mural Art and African Drumming. Activities are age specific and alternate according to popularity and interest.

Please drop in to the Crownway Community Centre office to collect an application form and more information. Places are limited to approximately 25 children per workshop, and are on a first come first serve basis.
