Who We Are

We are a warm and friendly church, committed to proclaiming and practising the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through worship, prayer, bible study, witness and service to the wider community. Following the demolition of our old church in 2000, and after five years of fundraising, we now have a lovely new building, which serves as our Church and as the Crownway Community Centre. The new premises were officially opened in October 2005.

We are affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and a member of the North Western Baptist Association. We also join together with other local churches as a member of Newton Churches Together, to worship, learn and have fellowship with each other.

In September 2005 we appointed two Associate Pastors, and at present Andrew Gale is responsible for the pastoral and spiritual growth of the Fellowship.

Currently there are nine Deacons including one Life Deacon, who meet monthly to discuss church business.
