Get online at Crownway with ‘Go On’!
Crownway Community Centre’s friendly staff and volunteers are pleased to offer the UKonlinecentre facility to all local community members. UK online centres help people make most of computers and the internet.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or just want to learn more about how to use the internet then you’ve come to the right place. There are many options available to you:
Start a free, short course with Go ON
Go ON is a simple way to get started with the internet. Get going with the Online basics of using a keyboard and mouse, email and internet safety and carry on to try online shopping, job hunting and even digital photography.
What do I need?
You’ll need access to a computer and about ten minutes to register yourself for Go ON. You can either drop-in to the Centre and make an appointment to use one of our laptops, or you can use your own at home or at another Centre. After that, you’ll need around 40 minutes per module. You can go as quickly or slowly as you like, and come back to pick up wherever you last left off.
What if I need help?
If you’d prefer a bit of help with getting online then you can come along to Crownway Community Centre – your local UK online centre – where you will find staff who are trained to take you through Go ON and answer all of your questions.
You may also consider attending our Basic Computer Course – every Monday 10am – 12pm – run by one of our expert Computer Wizards where you can receive this direct support in a more conducive setting, among other learners.
